The most recent snapshot of Mississauga voters shows a divided race with a close contest emerging between front runner and former Mayor Bonnie Crombie (30.4%) and current Mayor Carolyn Parrish (27.6%). With councillors Alvin Tedjo now a strong third (20.5%) and Dipika Damerla holding double digits (10.4%) this contest is going to be one to watch on October 26.
Like other municipal races, voters in Mississauga cite affordability and cost of living as a top issue (32.7%) in this election followed by Crime and Safety (18.5%).
