The latest BC snapshot by Mainstreet Research shows the Greens on the rise, and the NDP down. Although this may be simple ballot confusion, the BC Greens now sit at 14.6% with the BC NDP down to 36%. The BC Conservatives continue to lead with 41.7%.
"The recent election of Green Party municipal candidates in Vancouver may be giving a boost to their Provincial cousins" said Quito Maggi, President & CEO of Mainstreet Research. "Although this might be simple ballot confusion and not materialize on election day, it's significant with just days left for the NDP to secure that support" he continued. "More and more, this early election call by Eby is looking like it will end up in the Hall of Fame for political miscalculations" he added. "This will require a final snapshot closer to election day to be certain" he concluded.
