Toronto - Early May Poll

At the start of the month of May, Olivia Chow has seen her lead expand in our polling of the Toronto mayoral race.

Chow has jumped to 31% among decided voters with the next closest competitor being Ana Bailao at 17%. Josh Matlow comes third with 15% and Mark Saunders behind that at 12%. Mitzie Hunter has switched places with Brad Bradford and they now sit at 9% and 6% respectively.

11% of decided respondents would vote for another candidate not listed here.

We also asked Torontonians whether they thought the city needs large systemic changes, small changes or no changes at all in the overall way the city operates today. The overwhelming majority of Torontonians believe the city needs changes, most of whom believe the city needs to make large, systemic changes across the board.
