In the first poll of the 2021 Nova Scotia election, we find that the governing Liberals, led by Premier Iain Rankin, have a strong lead over the opposition Progressive Conservatives.
Among decided and leaning voters, the Liberals have 42.4% support, while the opposition PCs, led by Tim Houston, have 30.3% support. The NDP, led by Gary Burrill, has 22%, while the Greens, led by Jessica Alexander, have 3.8% support. The remaining 1.5% said they would vote for another party not mentioned.
While the PCs have a 3% lead over the Liberals among men, the Liberals have a 22% lead among women over the NDP, with the PCs in a distant third (17.5%).
The NDP Lead by just under 10% over the PCs and the Liberals among respondents between the age of 18 and 34, while the Liberals lead among all other age groups.
The Liberals have significant leads in Halifax and Cape Breton and find themselves in a two-point lead over the PCs in the rest of the province.
